Here is my collection of charms (or bullets, whichever term you prefer), tiny graphics with equal height & width that are usually embedded alongside text to decorate mail, text messages, profiles and more. Originating from Japan thanks to NTT Docomo's experiments with decome, rich text customization options for mail and messaging from mobile phones that allowed for total customization including the embedding of not only static pixel symbols but animated ones as well, which could be downloaded from other websites and shared across platforms. Now, these little charms don't see much use on modern day messaging platforms as customization options dwindle and web design becomes quite homogenous, but stay strong on blogging websites, online journals and HTML hobbyist websites where they're used as text decorations and as ornamentative bulletpoints to make lists more visually appealing.
